In shortDealer gamma, made readable on your chart

DeepGamma brings institutional gamma-exposure analysis into DeepCharts using real CBOE market-maker data. Instead of guessing where price will stall or accelerate, you see the gamma walls, pressure zones and regime shifts directly on the chart. It's a genuine edge for intraday futures and index traders — and with the START10 code, the entry price is easier to justify.

What is DeepGamma?

DeepGamma is DeepCharts' new gamma-exposure (GEX) toolset, built natively into the platform. It reads real market-maker gamma exposure — sourced from CBOE-reported options data — and visualises it as live levels and profiles on your chart. The goal is simple: show you where dealer hedging activity is concentrated, because that's where price tends to get pinned, stall, or accelerate.

DeepGamma WEB launched on October 4, 2026 after a 38,000-viewer live event. It is one of three DeepCharts products: DeepChart is the full order-flow platform where you connect your charts and trading accounts, DeepDom reads the liquidity heatmap, and DeepGamma reads gamma exposure (GEX). More on the platform in our DeepCharts review.

What is gamma exposure (GEX)?

Gamma exposure measures how much market makers must buy or sell to stay hedged as price moves. When dealers are in positive gamma, they trade against the move (buying dips, selling rips) — which dampens volatility and pins price. In negative gamma, they trade with the move — which amplifies volatility and fuels sharp trends. Knowing which regime you're in, and where the key gamma levels sit, tells you whether to expect chop or a breakout.

This flow moves the futures before you see it on the tape — which is exactly the gap DeepGamma is designed to close.

The 3 DeepGamma tools

1. Option Summary (GEX oscillator)

Shows the net gamma exposure for the session as an oscillator, so at a glance you know whether the market is in a positive or negative gamma regime right now — and when it flips.

2. GEX Profile

A vertical profile panel (like a volume profile, but for dealer gamma) plotted on the side of your chart. It shows how gamma exposure is distributed across every strike, so you can spot the "gamma walls" where the biggest hedging pressure sits.

3. Option Envelopes (gamma levels)

Plots three key levels straight onto your price chart — Zero Gamma, Major Gamma and Minor Gamma — the horizontal lines where dealer hedging is likely strongest. These act as intraday magnets and reaction zones.

Who DeepGamma is for

It's a strong fit for intraday futures and index traders — especially anyone trading the ES, NQ or SPX/SPY around key levels, or 0DTE-influenced sessions where dealer hedging dominates. If you already read order flow and want to know why price is pinning or breaking, gamma levels add the missing context.

It's less useful if you're a longer-term swing trader on higher timeframes, where intraday dealer hedging matters far less. New to the concept? Start with the gamma primer above, then test it live.

DeepGamma FAQ

What is DeepGamma?

DeepGamma is DeepCharts' gamma-exposure toolset. It uses real CBOE market-maker data to show dealer gamma levels, a GEX profile and a net-gamma oscillator directly on your chart, helping you anticipate where futures price is likely to stall or accelerate.

Is there a DeepGamma free trial?

Yes — DeepGamma has a 14-day free trial so you can try the tool and get comfortable with it. Open it through our link, which carries the code START10, to start.

Is there a DeepGamma discount code?

Yes — enter START10 in the Coupon field on the checkout Summary step and click Apply coupon. It works on DeepGamma, DeepChart and DeepDom.

What data does DeepGamma use?

It uses real, CBOE-reported market-maker gamma exposure data — not an estimate — which is what makes its levels reliable.

Do I need options experience to use it?

No. DeepGamma turns options-driven dealer hedging into simple levels and a regime signal on your chart, so futures traders can use it without trading options themselves.

Is DeepGamma separate from DeepCharts?

No — it's built natively into the DeepCharts platform, alongside footprint charts, volume profile and the DOM ladder.
